The following outlines important information you should know when applying for a Virgin Money Credit Card:

That a copy of your credit report from one or more credit reporting bodies will be obtained.
That you agree to the "Electronic Communication Consent" and consent to receive in electronic form, statements and other notices relating to this account, and you understand that you can change your preference via Virgin Money Online or by calling 13 37 39.
That we may provide your name, residential address, date of birth and government related identifiers such as driver licence number, passport details and Medicare details for the purpose of verifying your identity in accordance with the requirements of the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006, and our policies, or other requirements it may have. You confirm that you are authorised to provide the personal details presented, and you consent to my information being checked with a credit reporting body, document issuer, third party databases such as Electoral Roll, Medicare, or official record holder via third party systems.
That your personal information will be collected, held, used and disclosed as reasonably necessary for business purposes, which may include regulatory purposes, detecting and preventing fraud and other risks to the credit provider and its customers; responding to inquiries about applications, accounts or other products, services or arrangements, and in its dealing with complaints.
That the information you provide in this application will be retained to process any future applications made in your name or that of any other person and for the purpose of identifying any attempted fraudulent activity. The credit provider will do this, irrespective of whether or not your application is successful or you are a customer at the time.
That we may engage third parties to verify the authenticity of any identity documents you provide against official government records. If you don’t wish to use these methods to verify your identity, you should not continue with the digital application form and instead contact us for an alternate method of application.
